So I am here - kids at school - me at work. In theory it is a nice change of pace.
In reality it sucks.
I don't belong here.
Kids in suit coats, girls in high heels. I don't even wear high heels. I have Sketchers on, a mocha in one hand, my tie-dyed sidekick in the other. I am the least mature person in the building - seriously.

so maybe your job is to teach them some "cool"...obviously their parents/families don't have the "cool gene"...give it to them!

What if Liz and her cat songs have sucked all the cool out of me?
You've still got the "cool"...I'd tell you if you lost it. Heck, the kids would tell you if you lost your "cool"...
OK - Speaking of high-heels we were at the Disney store the other day and I saw a Minnie Mouse outfit that would fit R. It had coordinating, sparkly Minnie Mouse shoes. They were high-heels. NOT the little kid, blocky high-heels, oh no, they were skinny heeled, high-heeled shoes. Seriously. Oh, and then there was a 12 year old girl in skinny legged, hot pink pants, about 3 skin-tight T-shirts (layered) and shoes like THIS (I'm not even kidding, at the DISNEY store): http://www.pleaser.co.uk/contents/media/t_Rosebud%20501.jpg
Also, off topic, how the HELL did the P's blog get a GENIUS reader rating? Not that the kid isn't a genius - but all of mine said "Elementary". Ho hum...
P.S. You are cool.
M - I know, most of mine said that too, I did get one college though.
WTF?
I think it's all those animal names he throws in there.
