grrrrrrrr

Long story short - I have been in the ER or Doctor's office no less than 12 times in the past month.

The latest scenario is that I can't walk.

Yep.

Quite a predicament for a dance teacher who also has a full fledged show to choreograph this month.

It's not like it hurts to walk. I just can't do it. Your guess is as good as mine.

I was watching movies with the professor on Saturday night, when I decided to get out of bed for a drink. I stood up and it was like electrical current through my leg - I could see it shaking - like a seizure from the hip down to the toes. I fell back on the bed, and didn't think much more of it. I thought maybe my leg had fallen asleep or something. But it lasted for over an hour, and when I finally did manage to walk to the sink, it was with much assistance, and both legs continued to shake.

It has been like that ever since. The shaking has mostly gone away, but my legs will not hold me up. Both GP's I saw had no idea what to tell me, so my own doctor hooked me up with a neurologist today.

I seriously thought she was going to tell me that it was just low blood sugar, or that I needed more potassium, or that I was getting scurvy . . . you know, something I could fix with a bag of chips, or a can of root beer.

Anyway - if anybody out there has ever heard of this, and can give me some clues, I would be very grateful. I can't find anything on google, and the whole scenario is getting old.

I am not a girl who likes to sit still.

when do you see the neurologist? If you can't get in soon, go to the ER at Mayo. Have they done any testing for MS? Call me if you need to.
Hang in there and keep me posted.
